7th Pay Commission: Great news has arrived, dearness allowances have been increased.

The latest dearness allowance was implemented by increasing the dearness allowance by 3% in the month of July. Due to which dearness allowance is being provided at the rate of 53% to the central employees and pensioners across the country.

Apart from this dearness allowance, the government has now also increased two other types of allowances for the employees. According to the rules set by the government and as per the time and keeping in view the inflation, dearness allowance is revised and apart from this, other types of allowances are also revised. The amendment in dearness allowance was made in the month of July, after which the government has also taken a decision regarding amendment in nursing allowance and dress allowance.

Dress allowance and nursing allowance for employees was officially announced in September 2024. Due to this decision, employees associated with the health care sector will benefit from it. Right now many discussions are going on regarding the Eighth Pay Commission in which this information is also very important for all the employees.

Increase in nursing allowance

Nursing allowance is provided to nurses working in government hospitals and dispensaries. On July 4, 2024, a circular was issued by EPFO ​​according to which whenever dearness allowance exceeds 50%, then in such a situation the other allowances are increased by up to 25%. An announcement was made regarding the increase in nursing allowance in the month of September 2024.

Revision of Dress Allowance

Dress allowance is also included in the many types of allowances received by employees, which is provided to many central employees. According to the office memorandum of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare dated 17 September 2024, if dearness allowance is increased by 50%, the dress allowance is increased by up to 25%. Due to these important rules, dress allowance will increase.

Who gets dress and nursing allowance?

Both Dress and Nursing Allowance are provided to employees working in the Ministry of Family Welfare and employees providing health related services in government hospitals. If you provide similar service then in such a situation you too must be being provided this allowance.

Latest updates regarding dearness allowance and 8th pay commission

There is going to be a revision in the dearness allowance once again due to which the dearness allowance will increase again. And this time the possibility of increase in dearness allowance is being estimated at 3%, although the confirmed information will be released officially. The latest dearness allowance will be implemented from January 1, 2025 but it will take time till March-April to be announced.

Many types of discussions are going on these days regarding the Eighth Pay Commission, while there is a demand from the employees that work should be done on the Eighth Pay Commission and it should be implemented as soon as possible. But at present no information related to the Eighth Pay Commission has been released officially.

Some politicians say that no consideration is being given to the Eighth Pay Commission right now. The government can give some clear information on the Eighth Pay Commission very soon, so wait for it. According to the order, the Central Pay Commission is constituted in 10 years and very soon the 10 years of the Seventh Pay Commission is going to be completed.
