MP Board Exam 2025 Class 10th 12th
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE), Bhopal has officially released the timetable of High School (10th) and Higher Secondary (12th) board examinations for the year 2025. This exam schedule is of utmost importance for students, teachers and parents, as it will help them to plan their studies and preparation on time. This time the examinations will start from 25 February 2025 and will continue till 29 March 2025. The board has announced to conduct the examinations from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education 10th and 12th annual examination 2022 will be conducted as per the above time table. The format of the paper will be set according to the blueprint and new exam question paper issued by MP Board.
Previous Year Exams and Results
Last year, the Madhya Pradesh Board exams for classes 10th and 12th were held in March 2024. The 10th exam was held from March 1 to March 27 and the Class 12 exam was held from March 2 to April 1. The results were declared on 25 May 2024. The pass percentage of class 10 students was 63.29%, in which the performance of girls was better than boys, the pass percentage of girls was 66.47% and that of boys was 60.26%. The overall pass percentage in Class 12 was 68.81%, with students from science, commerce and arts streams performing well.

Markings Scheme
New paper pattern and marking system has been implemented by Madhya Pradesh Board for 10th and 12th examinations of 2024. This time the written examination will be of total 80 marks and the remaining 20 marks will be given through internal assessment. The question paper of the written examination is divided into three parts.
The first part will be objective questions, comprising of a total of 30% multiple choice (MCQ), true-false, and fill-in-the-blank questions. The second part will be based on short answer questions, which will be 40% of the total questions and their answers will have to be written between 30-50 words. The third and final part will be of long answer questions, which will constitute 30%, and their answers will be written between 75-120 words.
The distribution of 20 marks for internal assessment will be based on various activities. This includes 5 marks for students’ performance in class, 5 marks for project work and assignments, and 10 marks for monthly tests or practical tasks. This system has been designed keeping in mind the overall development of the students.
MP Board Best of Five Scheme 2025
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has discontinued the Best of Five scheme this year, the scheme provided to the students of class 10th. Under this scheme, the result of the examination in class 10th was declared only by adding the results of five subjects. If there were less marks in one subject or failure in one subject, the student got a chance to pass.
After the closure of the Best of Five scheme, now the students of class 10th will have to pass by scoring good marks in all the 6 subjects, only then their pass will be declared in the annual examination result.
Due to this scheme, many students did not pay attention to any one of the important subjects like Mathematics or Science, due to which the board had to stop this scheme due to problems in their future.
