OSSC CGL Exam Date 2024

For Advertisement No. 1249/OSSC, Odisha Staff Selection Commission has released the revised OSSC CGL Exam Date 2024. Phase 1 of the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Exam for Group B and C posts is scheduled to be held on 20 October 2024 in all 30 districts of Odisha. Candidates must report to the exam center at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam, and the exam timings will be published soon. OSSC CGL Notification 2024 Eligibility

To be eligible to appear for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination-2024, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria mentioned in the OSSC CGL Notification 2024.

General Eligibility Criteria- Candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia fluently.

• He/she must have passed the Middle School Examination with Odia language subject OR
• He/she must have passed the HSC examination with Odia as the examination medium in non-language subjects.
• He/she must have passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of class 7 or above from a school or educational institution recognized by the Government of Odisha.
• He/she must pass an examination in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha.

Educational qualification- After completion of Graduation from a recognized University, candidates must have basic knowledge of Computer like proficiency in use of Computer Internet, E-mail, Word Processing, Data Analysis and Presentation.

Age Limit- Candidates who fall in the age group of 21 to 38 years (as on 01/04/2024) are eligible to apply for OSSC CGL Recruitment 2024.

OSSC CGLRE Preliminary Exam Pattern 2024

The duration to complete the OSSC CGL 2024 preliminary exam is 150 minutes and the exam will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, each question carrying 1 mark. There will be negative marking of 1/4 marks (if there are four options) and 1/3 marks (if there are three options).

OSSC CGL Notification 2024 Salary

Various posts under OSSC CGL Recruitment 2024 are paid as per Pay Level 9 & 4 of ORSP, 2017 after appointment to the respective roles. The pay for Junior Assistant HOD and all Group C posts ranges from Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 as per Pay Level 4.
