UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023: Last application date 28th February!


Young friends, do you dream of appearing in the prestigious Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) of India? If yes, then this is a golden opportunity for you! UPSC has recently started the application process for UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023.

Through the examination, selection is done in various central government services such as IAS, IPS, IFS etc. This exam is considered to be one of the toughest and prestigious exams in India, but with hard work and the right strategy, you can crack it.


How to apply:

  • Visit the official UPSC website https://upsc.gov.in/.
  • Click on “Online Registration” link.
  • Fill all the required details and submit your application fee.
  • The last date for submission of application form is 28 February 2024. Please note that any application after the last date will not be considered.


Eligibility:

  • It is mandatory to have a graduation degree from any recognized university.
  • Applicant’s age should be between 21 to 32 years (relaxation available for reserved categories).
  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.


Exam Pattern:


UPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted in three stages:



  • preliminary examination: It is an objective test consisting of two papers of General Studies and CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test).

  • Main Exam: It is a written examination consisting of seven papers on General Studies and optional subjects.

  • Interview: It is conducted to assess personality and fitness.


Selected candidates will be given training and then appointed in various government departments.
