BS-4 Year Programme/BE/B.Tech/B. Holder Candidate. Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc. OR equivalent degree/B.Sc.(Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks for General and OBC (50% for SC/ST candidates, Persons with Disabilities (PWD)) and CSIR qualified. ,

How to Apply for CSIR Awards and Fellowships?

To apply for CSIR Awards and Fellowships, some basic steps need to be followed as mentioned below:

  1. Candidates have to visit the official website https://www.csir.res.in/
  2. Then, select the award or fellowship you want to receive.
  3. Each fellowship or award program has a designated page. Read the objective and eligibility criteria for this.
  4. The award or fellowship the candidate wishes to select will come with an application form.
  5. The form has to be filled and receipt of form has to be duly submitted before the deadline of submission.
  6. Candidates must submit 7 (seven) copies of their application form. Further, an electronic copy of the nomination summary has to be sent as per Annexure-III.

  • CSIR Senior Research Associateship (SRA): Ph.D. Provides opportunities for experienced researchers. OR equivalent research experience to work on specific research projects in CSIR laboratories.
  • CSIR Young Scientist Scheme (YSS): Supports young researchers with master’s degrees to conduct research in emerging areas of science and technology.
