What is UGC NET?

University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test or UGC NET is a national eligibility test for the post of Assistant Professor and/or JRF (Junior Research Fellow). UGC NET exam is conducted by NTA for 83 subjects all over India. The examination is conducted twice a year in online mode and consists of two papers: Paper-I and Paper-II.
