Abua Avas Yojana: Various schemes are being implemented by the central and state governments for the general public of our country. The only purpose behind these schemes is that poor people can get the benefit of the schemes and their economic condition can be improved. In this sequence, a scheme has been started by the government for the poor people of Jharkhand. Under this scheme, the main focus has been done on families who do not have homes. Government of Jharkhand launched new scheme for poor class people
The Abua Awas Yojana was launched by the Jharkhand government on 15 August 2023, which aims to provide a permanent house of 3 rooms costing Rs 2 lakh to the poor people or those who do not have a house to live. The first installment under this scheme has been released on 23 January 2024. Jesus will include the names of those who have now been provided benefits under the housing scheme.

The benefit of this scheme will be given to those people who have not been able to take advantage of PM Awas Yojana for some reason. Under the Abua Awas Yojana, the target has been set to provide housing to 8 lakh poor families by 31 March 2026. So far, more than 31 lakh applications have been received for this scheme, out of which 29.97 lakh applications have been verified. An amount of Rs 2 lakh will be provided to the beneficiaries in five installments. In the first installment, the beneficiaries will be given 15 percent of the total cost to build houses, ie 30,000 rupees.

Eligibility required to take advantage of the scheme
- The applicant should be a native of the state of Jharkhand.
- There should be no government employee in the applicant’s family.
- Income tax payer family will not be eligible for this scheme.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs 3 lakh.
- The family of the applicant should not have their own pucca house.
