Vacancy details

The objective of the recruitment drive is to fill a total of 203 vacancies, which have been distributed as follows:

• Sub-Inspector (Unarmed Branch) in Assam Police: 144 vacancies
• Sub-Inspector (Armed Branch) in Assam Commando Battalions: 51 vacancies
• Police (Communication) Deputy Invertebrate in APRO: 7 vacancies
• Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defense (Junior) DGCD & CGHG, Assam: 1 vacancy

Next Stage: PST and Pet

Candidates who have approved the written examination will now proceed to the Physical Standards Testing (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). These tests are to be held at the 4th Assam Police Battalion in Kahilipara, Guwahati. March 17, 2025The schedule for pst and pet is as follows:

• March 17, 2025: APRO (women candidates) SI (UB) in Assam Police and SI (Communication)
• March 18, 2025: SI (AB) in Assam Commando Battalion (Women Candidates)
• 19-20 March, 2025: APRO (Male Candidates) Assam Police and SI (UB) in SI (UB)
• March 21, 2025: SI (AB) in Assam Commando Battalion (Male candidate)

Admit Card for PST and PET

Eligible candidates can download their admit card for PST and PET by starting SLPRB website March 9, 202511:00 am. Candidates who have qualified for many posts should indicate their preferences before downloading the admit card. Each post will require separate admit card if a candidate has qualified for more than one.
