Assam Teacher Application Fee 2024

Assam Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates without complying with the Assam Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2024 will not be considered for the recruitment process. Therefore, candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for GT and PGT posts.
- Eligibility for GT: Bachelor or Master degree in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed degree.
- Eligibility for PGT: Master’s degree in relevant subject with 50% marks.
Assam Teacher Selection Process 2024
As per the selection process for Assam GT & PGT Recruitment 2024 guidelines, candidates will have to appear for written test, interview and document verification.
- Written Examination: The first stage of the selection process is a written examination of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration, consisting of a total of 140 questions, where 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Interview: Candidates who qualify the written examination will be invited for personal interview to evaluate their suitability for the teaching post.
- Document Verification: The final stage involves verification of educational and professional documents of the candidates to ensure their eligibility before final selection.
