CAIIB has a compulsory paper structure which includes Advanced Bank Management, Bank Financial Management, Advanced Business and Financial Management, and Banking Regulations and Business Law. Apart from this, there are five optional papers, out of which candidates have to select one. These subjects are Rural Banking, Human Resource Management, Information Technology and Digital Banking, Risk Management and Central Banking.
The main points related to the exam pattern of CAIIB are as follows:

- Each paper has to be completed in maximum 2 hours.
