Currently, a plan is being worked on to make “Bal Aadhaar” registration simple and easy for children in the age group of 0-5 years. In this context, based on information received from specialized sources, this work can be started again through VLEs (Village Level Entrepreneurs) of Common Service Center (CSC).

    • “Baal Aadhaar” for children aged 0-5 years will be blue.
    • Biometric information is not taken in this age group. Child Aadhaar is linked to the parent’s Aadhaar.
    • Biometric update is required when the child completes 5 and 15 years of age.
  1. Registration Process,

    • VLEs will guide parents to visit the nearest Aadhaar center for enrollment of children.
    • Parents will have to bring their Aadhaar and birth certificate of the child.
    • After enrolment, Aadhaar number will be informed on the registered mobile number.

Role of Aadhaar Enrollment through CSC

CSC’s VLEs are playing a vital role in taking the Aadhaar enrollment process to rural and semi-urban areas. Their role will also be important in the upcoming Baal Aadhaar registration process:
