  • CPCB scientists B written examination will include many types of questions, such as MCQ, MSQ and NAT.
  • 30 marks will be sought for a total of 30 questions, including 20 MCQ questions and 10 MSQ and NAT questions.
  • A total of 20 questions will be asked for 40 marks, including 10 MCQ questions and 10 MSQ and NAT questions.
  • Candidates have only 2 hours to complete the exam.

The marking scheme will be different for different types of questions, such as MCQ, MSQ and NAT as mentioned below:

  • 1/6th issue will be cut for wrong answer
  • 2/6 marks will be cut for the wrong answer.
MSQ (one or more answer will be correct)
  • There is no negative marking.
  • There are no marks to choose from partially correct combinations, options or any wrong option,

  • There is no negative marking for NAT.
  • No option will be shown for such a question. Answer can be an integer or decimal.
