Candidates who have qualified for CSIR SO Stage 2 Exam 2024 have now been called for the next stage of the recruitment process, i.e. Interview. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has released the CSIR SO Interview Date 2024 on its official website on 2nd October 2024.

CSIR SO Interview Date 2024 has been released and the interview process will be conducted from 25th October to 29th October 2024. Candidates who have submitted their application forms for the post of Assistant Section Officer will also have to qualify the Computer Proficiency Test which will be conducted on the same day in the afternoon shift and at the same examination venue.

Does CSIR exam include interview?

Through the CSIR SO ASO selection process discussed above, it is clear that the candidates who have submitted their application forms for 76 posts of Section Officer will have to appear for the Interview. The weightage of Interview for selection of candidates for the post of Section Officer (General/F&A/S&P) will be 100 marks. Applicants who score minimum required marks out of total 500 marks for Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III will be called for interview stage.

CSIR SO ASO 2024 Exam Pattern

CSIR SO ASO exam pattern is divided into few sections. In Paper I candidates will have to go through the subjects like General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension. Paper I will be both objective and descriptive type. Paper II will be of 200 marks consisting of 200 objective type questions from subjects like General Intelligence, Reasoning and Mental Ability.
