csl selection process 2024
As per the recent notification released by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), the selection process for the posts of Fabrication Assistant and Outfit Assistant will be conducted in two stages:
- Objective Type Online Examination: The first stage of the selection process is an objective type online test, which will last for 35 minutes. This exam will have 30 multiple choice questions (MCQs), which will be divided into two parts. Part A will cover general topics and will be of 10 marks, while Part B will focus on trade-specific knowledge and will be of 20 marks. Each question carries one mark, and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
- practical test: Candidates who qualify the online examination will proceed for the Practical Test, which is designed to assess their practical skills and expertise related to Fabrication and Outfit Assistant roles. This exam will be of 70 marks.

Candidates who successfully qualify both the rounds of the selection process will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 23,300. In addition to the basic salary, they will also be eligible for compensation for any additional hours worked, which may be up to Rs. 5,830 per month.
