DDA JE Detailed Eligibility Criteria 2025

1. Educational qualification

  • Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute or equivalent.
  • Surveyor, Either a diploma in survey or two -year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in survey from a recognized institute. In addition, candidates should have two years of work experience in the survey.

2. Age limit

  • Is (Civil): 18 to 27 years.
  • Surveyor: 18 to 25 years.
  • Age relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PWBD: 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
    • Departmental Candidates: As per the rules, up to 40 years (JE).

3. nationality

Must be a candidate:

  • A citizen of India,
  • Or the subject of Nepal/Bhutan,
  • Or a Tibetan refugee settled in India before 1 January 1962,
  • Or a person of Indian origin from select countries intend to settle permanently in India.

4. Pwbd eligibility

Candidates with locomotor disability (one hand/leg) and hearing loss may apply. The minimum benchmark disability should be 40% or higher as defined under the RPWD Act, 2016.
