DRDO Scientist B Selection Process 2025
The selection process follows a merit-based approach that combines academic excellence with personal interaction to assess the suitability of the candidate for the role.
- Shortalisting based on gate score: The first phase of the selection process involves shortlist candidates based on their valid gate score. Applicants will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:10.
- personal interview: According to the decision by RAC/DRDO, interviews will be conducted at Delhi or any other place.
- Final selection criteria: The final merit list will be prepared by combination: 80% of the gate score, and 20% of the marks obtained in individual interviews.
- Medical and Document Verification: Selection is also subject to:

- Verification of original documents including caste, disability and educational certificate
- Character and preceding verification according to government norms

After the final selection, the scientist will be at the B10 level and the basic salary of the rupee will be available. 56,100 per month.
