FCI Assistant Grade 3 Exam Pattern 2022

The FCI Assistant Grade III Online Exam is divided into two phases- Phase 1 and Phase 2. In the Phase-II exam, there will be 2 papers for which the detailed FCI Assistant Grade 3 Exam Pattern 2022 is discussed below.

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Phase 1 Exam Pattern

The Phase 1 Online Examination is common for all the candidates irrespective of the various profiles under FCI Assistant Grade-III. The online examination will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages ​​except for the English language paper.

1. The online exam consists of 100 marks for 100 questions.
2. Each question is of 1 mark, and there will be negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer.
3. The duration of the exam is 1 hour, FCI Assistant Grade 3 Phase 1 Exam will have one sectional timing.
4. The marks obtained in Phase 1 will not be considered while preparing the final merit list as it is a qualifying examination.

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Phase 2 Exam Pattern

Only those who qualify for Phase 1 exam will be eligible to appear in Phase 2 exam. The exam pattern for Phase 2 is slightly different for different profiles under Assistant Grade-III.

1. The exam pattern is the same for the posts of Assistant Grade-III General and Depot, while the pattern differs slightly for the post of Assistant Grade-III Accounts and Technical.
2. For Assistant Grade-III General and Depot; Phase-II will have only one paper (Paper-I).
3. Whereas for Assistant Grade-III Accounts and Technical, two papers will be conducted, i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-II is slightly different whereas the pattern of Paper-I will be same in all the four posts under Assistant Grade-III.

Paper – I

1. Paper-I is same for all the four posts under Assistant Grade-III.
2. Questions will be asked on some of the topics like English Language, General Awareness, Current Affairs, Data Interpretation and General Aptitude.
3. There will be 1/4th negative marking for each wrong answer.
4. There will be a total of 120 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each.

Paper II

Candidates who are applying for postcodes G & H, i.e. Assistant Grade-III (Accounts) and Assistant Grade-III (Technical) will have to appear in Paper-I along with Paper-II.

1. Both the papers of Phase II will be conducted on the same day.
2. Paper-II is post-specific, so questions are asked to test the knowledge of the candidates in their respective fields.
3. There will be 60 MCQs, each carrying 2 marks.
4. There will be 1/4th negative marking for each wrong answer.
5. There will be two groups for the candidates applying for the post of Assistant Grade-III (Technical); Group A and Group B in which questions will be asked about certain subjects. Candidates have to select any one group while filling the application form based on their educational background.
6. In Group A, questions will be asked on Agriculture, Zoology and Botany.
7. In Group B, questions will be asked from Chemistry, Physics and Agriculture.

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Salary

All employees serving in any one of the four services (General, Accounts, Technical and Depot) under FCI Assistant Grade III posts, irrespective of their area, will be entitled to basic pay Rupee. 9,300 – Rs. 22,940 with other benefits, The shortlisted candidate for the post of FCI Assistant Grade 2 will have to pay approx Rs. 28,000 – 34,000 per month. Apart from the basic pay scale, the pay of FCI Grade 3 Assistants will also include other allowances in their pay structure:
