E-KYC is mandatory for free gas cylinder

If you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh and you want to get a free gas cylinder, then for this you need to keep some things in mind. For information, let us tell you that only the citizens who are beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Scheme will be provided free gas cylinders.

But if you have not completed your e-KYC, then in such a situation you will not get the benefit of free cylinder. Therefore, first of all you should complete your e-KYC. So after you complete your e-KYC, you will get a free gas cylinder. If we see, last year also when Diwali came, the eligible citizens of Uttar Pradesh were given the gift of free gas cylinders.

Let us tell you that you will have to first purchase the gas cylinder by paying your money. Then after this, the entire amount of gas cylinder will be transferred to your bank account through DBT. Therefore, you should get your e-KYC done immediately so that you are not deprived of getting this benefit.

Free gas cylinders will be distributed in two phases

All the beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Yojana will get free gas cylinders by the government. Under this, two phases will be run to provide free gas cylinders. In this way, in the first phase, cylinders will be given to LPG gas consumers from October to December.

After this, the second phase will be conducted in the months of January to March. Let us also tell you that under PM Ujjwala Yojana, a subsidy of Rs 300 is given to the beneficiaries by the Central Government. Apart from this, the remaining relaxations are provided by the state government of the country.

Under the free gas cylinder, all the beneficiary consumers will get this benefit only on 14.2 kg gas cylinder. So you should not waste time and immediately submit your application and get the gas cylinder for free.

Process to apply online for free gas cylinder 2024

  • For free gas cylinder first of all you have to pmuy.gov.in But have to go.
  • Now you have to go to the main page of this website and press the option of Apply for PMUY Connection.
  • After this, a dialogue box will open in front of you where you will see links of many gas companies.
  • Here you have to click on the gas company from which you want to get the gas cylinder.
  • Now the next page that will open in front of you, you have to write your name, distributor name, your mobile number, your home address, your pin code etc.
  • After doing this, you have to click on the Apply button and after doing this, your application form will be submitted.
