GAT B Score Card 2025

Gat be qualifying marks

GAT B 2025 qualifying marks are determined by the National Testing Agency (NTA) based on the category-wise cutoff. The examination follows a strict marking scheme, where Section A contains 60 compulsory MCQs (10+2 levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology), cutting 0.5 marks for each wrong answer that takes 1 digit each. Meanwhile, Section B contains 100 graduate-level MCQ (Basic Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and related fields), of which candidates should try 60, in which 3 marks per correct answer and 1 mark should be cut for each wrong answer. While the exact qualification percentage varies annually, general/EWS candidates usually require about 50%, OBC-NCL candidates require about 45%, and about 40%should be secured to pass SC/ST/PWD candidates. The final cutoff will be officially declared with results.
