Haryana Happy Card Scheme: A new scheme has been started by the Haryana Government for Antyodaya families. The name of the scheme we are talking about is Haryana Happy Card Scheme. Haryana Government has announced ‘Happy Card’ under Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana for families with annual income up to Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand.
You will be able to travel for free up to a thousand kilometers
After making this card, the beneficiary will get the benefit of free travel of 1000 kilometers every year. Under this scheme, 84 lakh people from 22.89 lakh families in Haryana will be benefited. This scheme was announced by former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. About Rs 600 crore will be spent by the Haryana government for this scheme. According to the scheme, mobility cards will be given to 6 members of the Antyodaya family on a symbolic basis.
Antyodaya families of Haryana will get benefits
Through Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana, beneficiaries will be connected to the e-ticketing system to enjoy free travel in Haryana Roadways buses, and a smart card (Happy Card) will be issued. Under the scheme, a separate happy card will be made for each member of the family. For a Happy Card, the beneficiary will have to pay a fee of ₹ 50, in addition to which the cost of the card will be ₹ 109 and the annual maintenance fee of ₹ 79 will be borne by the government.
Eligibility for Haryana Happy Card
- To avail the benefits of the scheme, the applicant must be a native of Haryana.
- Under this scheme, benefits will be provided to families whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand.
- The families who fall in Antyodaya category will be eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
- To avail the benefit, it is mandatory for the family to have income verification in their Family Identity Card.

How can you apply?
- If you want to apply for Happy Card, then first of all you have to go to the official website of Haryana Transport Department.
- Here on the home page you have to click on the option of “Apply for Happy Card”.
- Now you will have to enter the Family Identity Card number and captcha code.
- Now you have to click on the option of “Send OTP” and verify the OTP.
- Once the OTP is verified, information about all the family members will be displayed in front of you.
- Now you have to select the member for whose Happy Card you want to apply.
- Now you have to enter mobile number and Aadhar card number.
- After this you will have to enter the captcha code and click on the option of “Send OTP”.
- Now OTP will be sent from Aadhaar to the registered number, which will have to be filled and verified.
- Now you have to click on the option of “Apply”.
- In this way you will be able to apply for Happy Card.
- 15 days after applying, you can go to your nearest roadways office and collect the happy card.
