The name of this scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for all the citizens of the country is Hindimosa Awas Yojana. Under the scheme, the target has been set that by the year 2025 every citizen will have his own house.

Hindimosa Awas Yojana 2024 Provides financial assistance to rural families to build their houses, under which each eligible family is provided Rs 1-2 lakh as financial assistance. People who cannot build their own house due to financial problems can take advantage of this scheme to build their dream house. If found eligible for the scheme, they are given financial assistance from the government through which they can build their own house.

Required eligibility for the scheme

  • The benefit of this scheme will be given only to those families who do not have their own permanent house.
  • Families already benefiting from any housing scheme of the Central or State Government will not be eligible for this scheme.
  • No member of the applicant’s family should be in a government job.
  • The annual income of the family should be less than ₹ 2 lakh.
  • Only members listed in the 2011 census will be eligible to apply.
  • The applicant should not own a house or land.

How to apply for the scheme

  1. To apply online for the scheme, first of all go to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. official website will go on.
  2. Here on the homepage you have to click on the option of Apply Online.
  3. You will now be directed to a page dedicated to the housing scheme.
  4. The application form has to be filled carefully on that page.
  5. After this all the necessary documents will have to be uploaded.
  6. After this you have to click on the submit button.
  7. Upon submission, you will receive an application number.
  8. You can use this application number to track the status of your application.

Apply through offline mode like this

  1. To apply offline, you will have to download the application form from the official website of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or collect it from the nearest Common Service Center.
  2. After this, all the necessary information will have to be filled in the application form.
  3. All necessary documents have to be attached along with the photo of your existing kutcha house and the photo of the beneficiary.
  4. The filled form will have to be taken to the village head for verification.
  5. After verification, the form has to be submitted to your nearest block office.
  6. The Block Office official will give you a registration number.
  7. You can use this registration number to check the status of your application.
