HPPSC Ae Exam Pattern 2025
The HPPSC AE selection process is of two stages of IE screening test and a personality test. HPPSC AE Exam Pattern 2025 for Assistant Engineer Civil has been given in detail here.
- The test will be of 100 questions of each.
- The examination may be online/offline based on the board’s decision.
- For online examination, candidates need to click on the check box mentioned in front of the options, whereas, in the case of offline paper, candidates must surround the correct option in the OMR sheet given.
- The minimum passing marks in screening examination for general category is 25% and 20% for reserved categories candidates.
- The final selection of candidates is based on marks obtained in personality test.

The screening test will be of 100 questions with 1 mark each. A total period of 2 hours will be given to solve the questions asked in the examination. There will be a negative mark of 0.25 points for every wrong answer. Detailed HPPSC AE exam pattern is tabulated below:

personality test
HPPSC Ae is a selection round for personality test candidates. The final selection of candidates is dependent on the performance of the candidate only in personality test. If the case has similar marks on the personality test of two candidates, the preference will be given to the candidate with more marks in the screening test. The personality test is of 100 marks, of which, the minimum pass marks in personality test are 45 for general category candidates and 35 marks for reserved category candidates.
