Candidates will be selected on merit
Indian Postal Department has to recruit about 44,228 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak. Under this recruitment, 10th pass candidates could send applications. Applications were invited from 15 July 2024 to 5 August 2024. The thing to note is that candidates will not have to appear for any examination for these posts. That means the candidates will be selected without any examination. Candidates on these posts will get appointment from the merit list made on the basis of marks obtained in class 10th.

Different posts have been released according to different circles according to which the candidates will be appointed. Till now 5 merit lists of this recruitment have been released.
