India Post GDS Results 2025, 1 merit list release date check out date


Indian Posts, under the Ministry of Communications, will be released India Post GDS Results 2025 and GDS 1 merit list soon on their official website https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/ by the end of March 2025. This year, India Post released 21413 vacancies for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Postmaster (BPM), and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM). The names and roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates to appear for the document verification will be uploaded separately for all 23 circles.

India Post Office GDS Result 2025 will be released with a roll number of candidates with a roll number in PDF format, who are eligible for the document verification round. The GDS 1 merit list will be released for all circles. GDS results and merit list PDF will be issued circle-wise on the official website https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/. As the merit list will be released, shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a physical verification process and submit an undertaking about the authenticity of their application details, for which the information will be shared immediately after the merit list is released.

GDS Results 2025 (Circle War)

Candidates whose names will be listed in GDS Results 2025 PDF, which will be released to Circle War, will have to appear for a document verification round to get a final appointment to the posts of Gramin Dack Servant in their respective circles. Shortlisted candidates will have to verify their documents through the Divisional Head mentioned against their names.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2025 Process is associated with filling 21413 vacancies for Gramine Postal Servant (GDS), Branch Postmaster (BPM), and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM). The GDS results 2025 Merit List PDF will be released in PDF format with registration numbers of circle-wise/state-wise with registration numbers of candidates who will be shortlisted to appear for document verification. The first merit list will be released separately for all 23 circles, and according to the trend of the previous year, more merit list can also be released.

To check your India Post GDS result 2025, you need an active internet connection as the merit list will be uploaded online in PDF format. Follow the steps given below to check the GDS result and Merit list 2025 from the official website-

  1. Open India Post GDS online on https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/ on your internet browser.
  2. On the left side of the homepage, search for the corner of the candidate.
  3. Now under the corner of the candidate, search for “GDS online engagement schedule, 2025 shortlisted candidates”.
  4. List of circles for which GDS results 2025 will be uploaded.
  5. Click on the circle you have applied.
  6. Download the first merit list PDF for your respective circle.
  7. Search your roll number with Ctrl+F shortcut in the list of shortlisted candidates.

What is India Post GDS merit list after 2025?

Please note the following information: Candidates whose names GDS results are listed in 2025 PDF, which circle-wise will be issued, should participate in the document verification round to secure the final appointment to Gramin Duck Service posts in their respective circles. Those who have been shortlisted should have their documents verified by the divisional head indicated next to their names. Candidates will have to carry the following documents for DV.

  1. Candidates’ 10th/SSC/SSLC Basic Mark Memo
  2. Caste or community certificate (for reserved category candidates)
  3. 60 days computer knowledge trained certificate from a recognized institute
  4. Physically handicapped certificate (if applied)
