A new provision has been made by the Government of India to recruit Agniveer for all three services of the country through Agneepath Scheme. In such a situation, the Indian Air Force has issued a notification for the recruitment of Air Force Agniveer, although the information related to the number of posts and online application has not been released yet, but all the information related to the recruitment will be released soon through notification.

Eligibility
Science class
- Passed class 12th with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks and must have obtained 50% marks in English OR
- 03 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with minimum 50% marks in English with 50% marks in Diploma course OR
- 2 years vocation course with Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subject from any recognized board with 50% marks and 50% marks in English.

Qualification of candidates other than Science stream
- Candidate must have obtained 50% marks in English subject with minimum 50% marks in class 12th OR
- 02 years vocation course with minimum 50% marks and 50% marks in English

Physical Fitness
- Length: 152.2 cm
- Chest expansion: 05 cm
Facilities Provided to Agniveer
- Under the Agneepath scheme, Agniveer will be employed in the Indian Air Force for 04 years.
- After 04 years of service, Agniveer will be given 10% reservation in Assam Rifles.
- Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and other states will give importance to Agniveer in state police recruitment.
- During the service, Agniveer will be given life insurance of Rs 48 lakh by LIC.
- After retirement from service, Agniveer will be given “Agniveer Skill Certificate”.
- Firefighters will be given 30 days leave in a year but sick leave will be given on medical advice.
- After completion of 04 years of service, an amount of Rs 5.02 lakh will be given to the soldiers as corpus fund.
- An amount of Rs 1 crore will be given to Agniveer who attains martyrdom during service.
