Jail Prahari Vacancy: Notification released for 10th pass of Jail Prahari Recruitment

For those candidates who have completed their education and are continuously looking for a government job, recruitment notice has recently been issued to fill the vacant posts of Jail Guard. Under this recruitment, young candidates from across the state are going to be invited to apply.

803 posts have been vacant in the recruitment of jail guards by the department, in which 44 posts have been allotted for scheduled area and 759 posts have been allotted for non-scheduled area candidates. In the notification issued for the recruitment, it has been said that its application process is going to be started from 24th December for which only a few days are left. After the application process starts from December 24, interested candidates will be able to submit their applications online till January 22, 2025.

Along with this, only ₹ 400 has been implemented for backward class, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates. Even after paying the applicable application fee, their application will be fully submitted.

Age limit for jail guard recruitment

• The minimum age limit for jail guard recruitment has been started from 18 years.
• Only candidates between 18 years to 26 years of age will be able to apply for this recruitment.
• The age limit in recruitment is being calculated as of January 1, 2025.
• The provision of relaxation in age limit has also been implemented as reservation.

Selection Process of Jail Police Recruitment

The department has announced the exam dates along with the application dates in the official notification of Jail Prahari, under which its main examination will be conducted from April 9 to April 12 in different cities of the state. The selection process is going to be successful in three phases, in the first phase there will be written examination, in the second phase there will be physical test and in the third phase there will be document verification.
