To apply for Chief Engineer post, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- IRSE Officer Working in Pay Level-14 of 7th CPC or equivalent Engineering Officers in other PSUs at IDA Scale E8 (₹1,20,000-₹2,80,000).
- IRSE Cadre Officers Officers of Indian Railways working in Pay Level-13 of 7th CPC with 16 years of experience or Civil Engineering Executive in other PSUs at IDA Scale E6 (₹90,000-₹2,40,000) with 16 years of experience.
pay scale:- The pay scale for the post of Chief Engineer is as follows:
- Salary Level: Level-14 as per 7th CPC
- salary range: ₹37,400 to ₹67,000 with grade pay of ₹10,000
- Allowances: The officer will receive pay and allowances as per DoPT instructions and will also be entitled to deputation (duty) allowance.
