KPSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Exam Pattern 2025

Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) will host two letters, paper 1 and paper 2 to select eligible candidates as MVI. Important points related to KPSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Exam Pattern 2025 are given below:

  • The KPSC exam will be conducted on the same day for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
  • KPSC Paper 1 and Paper 2 will have a total of 200 questions for each 1 digit.
  • The time duration of 90 minutes and 2 hours will be given to solve the questions in Paper 1 and Paper 2, respectively.
  • Both paper 1 and paper 2 will have negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Kannada language test

No candidate will be eligible for selection unless he qualifies the Kannada language test as is specified in sub-num (7) of Karnataka Civil Service (Direct Recruitment) (General) Rule 2021. There is a maximum question paper of a maximum of 150 marks in this exam and a candidate will get at least 50 marks on this paper. The question paper will be designed as the first language at SSLC level as standard with Kannada.

After qualifying in the Kannada language test for the above posts, it is mandatory to secure at least 35% marks in competitive test conducted according to Karnataka Civil Service (Direct Recruitment) (General) Rules, Sub-Nium 5 (D) of 2021. This examination will be selected based on the percentage of marks being safe.
