KSET Application 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for KSET Application Form 2024 for Assistant Professor Posts, candidates must carefully fulfill the specified age and educational qualification mentioned in the eligibility criteria. Educational qualification
- Candidates must have a two-year postgraduate degree program in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university and candidates from other state must have completed the minimum of ordinary category (55%+) for Master’s degree. Or
- Candidates who have a two-year postgraduate diploma or certificate or a foreign degree or diploma or certificate awarded by an Indian University or Institution should get its equivalence verified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, before applying.
age limit
In KSET 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates applying to take the Karnataka State Eligibility Test. This means that persons of all age groups are eligible to apply and appear for the examination provided they fulfill the educational qualification and other eligibility criteria specified by the conducting authorities.
Comment:- Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET/CSIR JRF examination before 1989 are not eligible to apply for KSET examination.
kset exam pattern 2024
KSET 2024 will consist of two papers, both consisting of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs). The questions in Paper I will be general and designed to assess the teaching and research aptitude of the candidates. It aims to evaluate reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness. Paper II will focus on the subject chosen by the candidate, consisting of MCQs related to that specific subject area.

Minimum qualifying marks for KSET 2024
