The selection process for the Mahatranko LDC will be based on a written examination, followed by the document verification, and the candidates will also have to pass physical and medical tests.

LEDC exam pattern 2025
The exam has two parts, first finance and account, and the second is general qualification. The minimum qualification marks for general category candidates are 30 out of 100 and for reserved category candidates require at least 20 out of 100.
- There are a total of 130 questions of 150 marks
- There are 50 questions of 110 marks in Finance and accounts, Auditing (professional knowledge)
- General qualifications include logic, quantitative ability and Marathi. Each question in these sections is of 0.5 marks.
