MPPSC Faculty Eligibility Criteria

For Assistant Professor
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks from an Indian University, or equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
- Must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test recognized by UGC such as SLET/SET.
- Relaxation of 5% at Under Graduate and Post Graduate level for SC/ST/Divyang (Physically and Visually Handicapped) categories for the purpose of eligibility and to assess good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching posts.
- Guest scholars working to fill the vacant posts in government colleges will get a maximum relaxation of 10 years in the age limit, along with an additional relaxation of one year.
