Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme
Mukhyamantri Uchcha Shiksha Scholarship has been started by the Rajasthan Government with the aim of providing financial assistance to students in higher education. This scheme was started by the then state government in 2018. In this scheme, the government provides a scholarship amount of Rs 500/- per month to the students.
Under the Chief Minister Higher Scholarship Scheme, students are provided benefits for 10 months every year in which the government provides a total amount of Rs 5,000/- every year.
Important information related to the scheme
- Students who have passed 12th class and whose family income is not good can apply for this scheme.
- The annual family income of the applying student should be less than Rs 2,50,000/-.
- The applicant should not be already availing the benefit of any kind of scholarship scheme run by the state or central government.
- In this scheme, scholarship amount is provided to the student for 5 years, if the student leaves his studies midway then he will stop getting the benefit.

- This is a state sponsored scheme, hence the benefit of this scheme will be provided only to the students of Rajasthan state.
- To apply for this scheme, it is mandatory for the student to have at least 60% marks in class 12th.
- The student should be studying regularly in an educational institution recognized by the government.
- The government will provide scholarship amount under this scheme only to the top 1 lakh students, hence it is possible that even after completing all the qualifications, you may not get the benefit of this scheme.
