National Museum Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Details of educational qualification and age limit required for National Museum Recruitment are given below.

Eligibility:

• Officers under Central Government/State Government/Union Territories/Universities/Recognized Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Government/Statutory or Autonomous Organizations.
• Candidates should either hold the same post or have five years of service in the grade carrying pay scale of ₹8,000 – ₹13,500 or equivalent.

Educational qualification:

• Master’s degree in Museum Science/Art History or equivalent.
• Diploma in Museology with Master’s Degree in Indian History/Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit/Persian/Arabic/Archaeology/Anthropology/Fine Arts.
• Five years’ experience in a museum of national/regional importance.
• One year research experience with published work in numismatics and palaeography.
• One year field experience and practical training in numismatics and palaeography.

Age Limit:

• Candidates age should not be more than 56 years as on the last date of application.
