NICL Assistant Exam Pattern 2024
NICL Assistant Exam Pattern 2024 is divided into two phase examinations: Phase I (Preliminary) and Phase II (Mains) followed by Regional Language Test.
- There will be negative marking of one-fourth (0.25 marks) for wrong answers in both Preliminary and Main Examination.
- The final merit list will be prepared from the marks obtained in the main examination subject to qualifying for the regional language test.

The preliminary exam is scheduled on 30 November 2024. It contains 100 questions for 100 marks which has to be completed in 60 minutes. It includes sections like English, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.
Phase 1 examination is qualifying in nature, no marks will be included in the final merit list.

The main exam is scheduled on 28 December 2024. Stage 2 consists of 200 questions of 1 mark each which must be completed in 120 minutes. This is an important stage as the marks obtained in this stage will be included in the final merit list.
