State Selection Board, Odisha Police Cuttack has announced 1360 vacancies of Sepoy/Constable for Odisha Special Armed Forces in Indian Reserve Battalion (OSAP IRB). Those who want to join Odisha Police Department must apply online for OSAP IRB Recruitment 2024. 4. Then tap on the “New Registration” button given in the yellow box. Read all the instructions given on the screen and tick the box.
5. Then, tap on the “Click here to proceed” button. Then enter your mobile number, email ID, Aadhaar number and password.
6. Proceed further by entering the captcha code.
7. After successful verification of mobile number and e-mail ID, candidates have to enter personal details including name, date of birth, category, gender etc.
8. Now, go ahead and fill in the details regarding your qualification in the given blank spaces.
9. Then, candidates have to attach important documents with the OSAP IRB Application Form 2024, such as photograph, signature and other required documents supporting their eligibility.

1. Recent colour passport size photograph, signature and thumb impression

Eligibility Criteria to Fill OSAP IRB Application Form 2024

Before starting the OSAP IRB online application 2024 process, candidates must properly understand the eligibility requirements for constable posts. The main parameters used to determine the eligibility of candidates for OSAP IRB Recruitment 2024 are age limit, educational qualification.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2024)

The minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on 1st January 2024 to be eligible to apply online for OSAP IRB Recruitment 2024. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC categories get relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit, i.e., the upper age limit for these categories is 28 years.

Educational qualification

Candidates who have passed the High School Certificate Examination (Matriculation / 10th class pass) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent examination conducted by any other recognized Board or Council are eligible to apply for Sepoy / Constable Posts for Odisha Police.

General Requirements

Apart from the age and qualification of the candidate, there are some other general requirements that must be fulfilled to become eligible for constable posts in OSAP IRB.

• Any candidate who is a citizen of India and has good character, good health and is able to speak, write and read Odia language is eligible.
• Who have passed the High School Certificate Examination with Odia as a subject or have passed an Odia language examination equivalent to ME standard recognized or conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha.
