Prime Minister Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme

PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme has been started by the Government of India for students studying in class 9 to class 12. Under this scheme, scholarships ranging from Rs 75,000/- to Rs 1,25,000/- are provided to these students. This amount can be used by eligible students to pay the fees of the study institution and purchase study material.

Eligibility for Yashasvi Scheme

• A student wishing to avail the benefits of PM Yashasvi Yojana must be a native of India.
• The total annual income of the student’s family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh including all sources of family income.
• The concerned student should have obtained minimum 60% marks in the previous class. To avail scholarship in class 10, one should have 60% marks in class 9 and to avail scholarship in class 11, one should have 60% marks in class 10.
• This is a scholarship scheme, hence if the student has already availed the benefit of any other scholarship scheme in the same academic session, then he will not be given the benefit of PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme.
• But if the student has taken advantage of the student incentive scheme issued by the Central and State Government, then he can also get the benefit of PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme.
