Eligibility for PM Yashasvi Scholarship
Students who want to take advantage of PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme, then the eligibility conditions for it are as follows –
- For students studying in class 9, it is necessary that their age should be between 13 years to 15 years as on 15th September.
- For students who are studying in class 11, their age must be between 15 years to 17 years.
- The applicant student must have passed class 8th or class 10th exam.
- The annual income of the student’s family should be Rs 2.5 lakh or less.
- The student applying must necessarily belong to Scheduled Caste, Other Backward Class or Economically Weaker Section.
Selection process for PM Yashasvi Scholarship
Only meritorious students are helped through PM Yashasvi Scholarship. Therefore, students who submit their applications have to appear in a competitive examination. This exam is taken by the National Testing Agency and the name of this exam is Yashasvi Entrance Exam.
