The Board of School Education Rajasthan (BSER) is going to conduct Rajasthan Eligibility Test (REET) 2025 for teachers. REET exam is a state-level examination which is being conducted to assess the eligibility of aspirations to be appointed as teachers in the government. Examination level -1 (primary phase) is conducted separately for teachers and level -2 (primary phase) teachers.
Whether the candidates who are immersed in tireless preparation for the examination will be surprised about the implementation of the negative marking scheme, and if yes, how? Thus, this article has been designed to eliminate any doubt in the minds of the candidates about negative marking criteria.
Is Rit 2025 a negative marking?
Earlier, BSER, who conducts the REET 2025 examinations, has never included negative marks. But still, candidates are suspecting the implementation of a negative marking system. So, is BSER actually implementing negative marking schemes in REET 2025 exams? The answer is yes!! However, this marking scheme is being used.
BSER has introduced a change in REET exam pattern, in which candidates will now have 5 options to select multiple choice questions (MCQs), and, if a candidate fails to choose any option, then the question Except, then there will be a total number of marks in the form of 1/3 points.
REIT 2025 introduces negative marking
Guess? REET 2025 is bringing a big change! This time, BSER has added the 5th option to MCQs. Looks good, don’t you? But there is a catch here, if you leave a question intentionally or unknowingly, then 1/3 marks will be deducted for that question. Therefore, think smart, try wisely, and do not leave the questions empty. There is an official tweet here, which made headlines at this point.
Reet 2025 marking scheme
With the introduction of the 5th option in MCQs, the marking plan has also been updated in REET 2025. Candidates will still earn 1 point for each correct answer, but now there is a twist, leaving a question will result in a 1/3 point cut. This means that smart answers are more important than ever! To avoid losing scars, candidates should carefully evaluate their choice and try more and more questions as much as possible.
