Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has taken an important step to make its exam process more transparent and safe. Starting from May 2025, candidates appearing for SSC exam will have the option to use Aadhaar-based biometric authentication. The move is expected to bring more reliability in registration and examination process.
SSC’s new step towards transparent exams
Staff Services Commission announced that Aadhaar certification would be available in various stages. Candidates can choose to use their Aadhaar while registering online for examinations, while the application form is filled and also appears for testing at examination centers. The purpose of this new feature is to make the process smooth and more reliable.
Aadhaar certification is voluntary
The SSC has clearly stated that using the base-based certification is completely voluntary. It is not mandatory for candidates to use Aadhaar, but options are being offered to make the process easier and faster. Biometric authentication will help confirm the identity of the candidates and reduce the possibility of copying or fraud. This step is part of the commission’s large target of improving the overall examination system. With the help of Aadhaar, SSC aims to provide a fair and transparent environment to all applicants in upcoming examinations.
New facility will be available from May 2025
Candidates who are planning to appear for the SSC exam from May 2025 will be able to use this new base -based system. The Commission is expected to provide clear instructions and updates about how to use the facility in different stages of the examination process. SSC believes that this digital step will benefit millions of candidates by ensuring more secure and efficient examination experience.
