TN set eligibility criteria 2025, age limit, qualification, and digit percentage


The Eligibility Criteria has been released on its official website to apply for the Tamil Nadu set 2025 exam. TN Set Eligibility Criteria 2025

Before applying for the TN SET 2025 exam, candidates need to carefully review the eligibility criteria. Interested candidates should ensure that they meet the Tamil Nadu set 2025 eligibility criteria mentioned below:

  • Candidates must have scored at least 55% marks in master’s degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC
  • Scheduled Castes (SC) / SC (A) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Disability (PWD) / Persons with third gender category will get at least 50% marks in master’s degree or equivalent examination

  • Candidates chase their master’s degree or those who have appeared for their final year examination, can also apply, along with the result.
  • Such candidates will be provided provisionally admitted, but within two years from the date of TNSET result, they will be eligible for the assistant professor only after passing their master’s degree or equivalent exam with at least 55% marks within two years.
