Udyogini yojana scheme: At present, women are not behind men in any field. In every field, women are working shoulder to shoulder with men. Government launched new scheme for women
The government has launched another new scheme for the welfare and development of Indian women entrepreneurs. It has been implemented by the Women Development Corporation under the Government of India. This scheme provides financial help to women who wish to do business. The Udyogini scheme helps in increasing the income of a person and families and contributes to the development of the country. The main objective of this scheme is to empower women. Women who want to do their own business can take advantage of this scheme and start their business.
Loan of 3 lakh is available under the scheme
The Udyogini Yojana is offered mainly by Karnataka State Women Development Corporation (KSWDC), Punjab and Sindh Bank, Saraswat Bank, as well as many other private and public sector banks. Apart from providing financial assistance, this scheme also organizes skill development training programs for women. Under this scheme, women get a maximum amount of ₹ 300000 as loan.Women whose family income is less than 1.5 lakh gets the benefit of this scheme.
Eligibility required for taking loan
- Under the Udyogini scheme, only those women can get loans, whose business is registered under the Udyogini Yojana.
- Under this scheme, a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh can be taken.
- The same women will be more than 18 years and below 55 years of age to apply for Udyogini Yojana loan.
- The family income of a woman applying to avail this scheme should not be more than one lakh fifty thousand.
- There is no limit of annual family income for widows or disabled women. They can also apply no matter what their income is.

- Duly filled application form with passport size photo
- Applicant Aadhar card
- Birth certificate
- Applicant’s BPL Card
- Ration card
- Address and income proof
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- Copy of bank passbook (account, bank and branch name, account holder name, IFSC and MICR)
- Any other documents required by Bank/NBFC
How to apply
To apply for business loans under the Udyogini scheme, applicants have to go to their nearest bank with all the necessary documents and fill the application form before completing the formalities of the bank. Applicants can also apply for online lawn by visiting the official websites of banks participating in Udyogini Yojana.
