UP Sub Inspector Recruitment Eligibility

All the candidates applying for Uttar Pradesh Sub Inspector Recruitment should have a degree of graduation (BA/BCom/BSC/BBA) from any category from a recognized university in India. Apart from this, the candidate should have physical efficiency and physical qualification fixed by the Uttar Pradesh Police Promotion Board.

Up police SI selection process

Candidates have to go through the following stages to get admitted to UP Police Daroga –

1. Written test
2. Physical Examination (PET/PST)
3. Medical examination
4. Final merit list

The detailed selection process of UP Police SI is as follows.

1. Eligibility criteria: First, you have to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. These criteria are usually citizenship, educational qualification, age limit, physical standards, etc.
2. Written test: After completing the eligibility criteria, candidates apply online for UP Police SI recruitment, after which they are called for written examination, it is a computer based written examination and questions are asked from various subjects in this written examination, like – Questions are asked from general knowledge, general Hindi, numerical ability, mental prosecution, Indian Constitution, Basic Law and Law.
3. Physical standard test (physical capacity examination): Candidates who have passed the UP Police Daroga written examination are called for physical standard testing. It consists of many different activities related to physical ability, such as race, length, chest measurement, and some physical testing.
4. Document verification: If you are successful in the physical standard examination, you will be called for documents verification. In this, you will have to submit your educational certificate (original and photo copy), birth-date certificate, residence, identity card, admit card, affidavit etc.
5. Selection List (Final Merit List): Finally, after all stages, the selection list of successful candidates is prepared. In which the names of the candidates who successfully pass all the stages are the name of the responsibilities in the final merit list, their final selection is on the post of UP Police Daroga.
