UPPSC Preliminary Exam Question Paper 2024
UPPSC Prelims exam is divided into two parts – General Studies-1 (150 questions) and General Studies-2/CSAT (100 questions). The marks obtained in the preliminary examination will not be counted in the final merit list, however, scoring good marks in the UPPSC preliminary examination indicates their eligibility to appear for the main examination. The minimum qualifying marks for UPPSC PCS Prelims GS Paper-II (CSAT) is 33%. UPPSC PCS Prelims Question Paper 2024 Marking Scheme
As per the marking scheme of UPPSC PCS 2024 exam, candidates can calculate their provisional marks by comparing their answers with the answers shared in the answer key. The marking scheme is as follows-
- For each correct answer, 1.33 marks are given in Paper 1 and 2 marks in Paper 2.
- For each wrong answer, 0.44 marks were deducted in Paper 1 and 0.66 marks in Paper 2.
- No marks will be deducted if the answer is left blank.
