- WB Police Constable Exam will have OMR-based objective type questions.
- A total of 85 questions will be asked for 85 marks.

WBP Constable Selection Process 2024-25
The selection process for WBP Constable Recruitment consists of four stages to ensure that only the most deserving candidates proceed. WBP Constable Selection Process includes the following steps:
- Written Examination: In the first stage i.e. written examination, candidates will be assessed through General Awareness and General Knowledge, English, Elementary Mathematics (Secondary Standard), Reasoning and Logical Analysis. It contains 85 objective type questions.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates will be shortlisted through OMR-based written examination for Physical Measurement Test.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Interview: The fourth stage of the selection process for WBP Constable posts will be the interview round. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of all the 4 stages.
