WBPSC Clerkship 2024 Preliminary Exam Date and Time

WBPSC Clerkship Exam (Part-I) is scheduled to be held on November 16 and 17, 2024 at various centers in West Bengal. The examination will be conducted in two sessions each day:

  • Session 1 (Morning): 09:30 am to 11:00 am
  • Session 2 (Afternoon): 02:30 PM to 04:00 PM

Overview of WBPSC Clerkship Exam Pattern 2024

The WBPSC Clerkship Exam is divided into two parts: Part-I (Objective Type) and Part-II (Conventional Type – Written).

Part-I Exam Pattern

Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

Total Questions: 100 questions

total marks: 100 marks (1 mark per question)

Duration:90 minutes

negative marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Part-I examination will test the candidates on the following subjects:

  • English: 30 questions
  • arithmetic: 30 questions
  • general Studies: 40 questions

Questions will be available in both English and Bengali languages ​​for the convenience of all candidates.

Part-II Exam Pattern

This section consists of traditional type of questions and tests the language proficiency of the candidates.

total marks: 100 points

Duration: 60 minutes
