eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for ICG Recruitment 2024 varies according to the post you are applying for:
1. For the post of Assistant (Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted, Ministerial):
officers under central government,
- Should be holding a corresponding post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
- Or, with six years of regular service in Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200/- and Grade Pay Rs. 2800) or ten years of service in Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200/-). With Grade Pay of Rs.2400).
- Must have degree from any recognized university.
2. For the post of Leading Hand Fireman (Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial):
officers under central government,
- Should hold corresponding post in Fire Cadre in Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200/- and Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-).
