Paper I (Classes I to v)

  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent):
    • With at least 50% marks and in the final year of the 2 -year diploma in primary education (D.EL.ED), or currently completed.
  • Alternative Qualification:
    • With at least 45% marks and in the final year of the 2 -year diploma in primary education (D.El.ED), or currently completed.
  • special education:
    • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks in the final year of the 2 -year diploma in education (special education) or in the present or currently.
  • Graduate:
    • With at least 50% marks and 2 -year diploma in education.

Paper II (Class VI to VIII)

  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent):
    • With at least 50% marks and primary education (B.EL.ED), BA/B.Sc.Ed, or Baed/B.Sc.Ed in 4 -year graduation or currently completed .
  • Graduate:
    • With at least 50% marks and completed or currently in the final year of B.Ed (B.Ed) or B.Ed (Special Education) in Education.
    • With at least 45% marks and NCTE criteria, education was completed in the final year of 1 year of graduation (B.ED) in education.
  • NCTE recognized b.ed program:
    • Candidates with B.Ed program recognized by NCTE.
  • Post-gradates:
    • Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and a 3-year integrated with B.Ed.-M.Ed.
