The eligibility criteria for EMRS teacher was for 3 -year integrated beds meditated candidates during the final recruitment cycle. According to the notice issued by EMRS, candidates with 3 integrated beds are now eligible to apply for the post of PGT and TGT. Candidates should ensure that a 3-year-old integrated bed-made degree is obtained from an NCTE-recognized institute. Earlier, only bed-qualified candidates were eligible to apply for the post of TGT and PGT under EMRS Teacher Eligibility Criteria.

EMRS Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025

    • Catch an analog post, or
    • Ten years of Teaching at a recognized High School / Higher Secondary School / Senior Secondary School / Intermediate College (Vice Principal / PGT / TGT)

  • B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university, and
  • Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium, and
  • 2-year experience of working as PGT or Lecturer at Level 8 (Rs.47600-151100) in the Central/ State Government. Autonomous Organization of Central/ State Government.

Desired:

  • Three years experience in a fully residential school.
Pratcation
  • In the respective subject, two years integrated post graduate course from NCERT’s Regional College of Education with at least 50% marks.

Or

  • Overall in the following subject, a master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks:
    • PGT (English)- English Literature
    • PGT (Hindi) – as one of the subjects at the graduation level with Hindi or Sanskrit Hindi.
    • PGT (Mathematics) -Mathetics/ Applied Mathematics
    • D. PGT (Physics) -Physics / Applied Physics / Atomic Physics.
    • PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. chemistry.
    • PGT (Biology) -Netics/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio-Science/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Molecular Bio/ Plant Physiology provided that they have studied botany and zoology at graduation.
    • PGT (History) – History
    • Geography-geography
    • PGT (Commerce) – Master Degree in Commerce. However, M. in Applied/Business Economics. Cost holders of Com’s degree will not be characters.
    • PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics.
    • PGT Information Technology- B. Tech (Computer Science/IT)/Master Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science/Information Technology. Tech (Computer Application/Computer Science/Information Technology).

And

  • Bed. Or equivalent degree from a recognized university (not applicable to PGT), and
  • Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
TGT
  • Four years of NCERT’s Regional College of Education in the respective subject with at least 50% marks in the integrated degree course Agigate.

Or

  • Combination of related subjects/subjects and bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in total.
    • For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in three years.
    • For TGT (English): English as a subject in three years.
    • For TGT (S.S.ST): Any two in the following main subject at graduation level: History, Geography, Economics and Poll. The science that should have any history or geography.
    • For TGT (Maths) – as a second subject as a second subject – as the main subject at the graduate level – mathetics: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Economics, Commerce and Statistics.
    • For TGT (Science )- Bachelor’s degree in Science with any of the following topics: Botany, Zoology and Chemistry

And

  • B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
  • State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, according to the guidelines made by NCTE for purpose by CBSE, and, and, and, and,
  • Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

Important hints on EMRS Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates will have to undergo the following instructions to understand the fine details of EMRS Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025.

  • Age limit is set for teaching posts, new recruitment of EMR will be declared on notification.
  • Candidates applying for TGT status should have a valid State/CTET-Paper-II certificate.
  • Applicants are required to upload the required certificate along with the application form.
  • If a candidate is currently visible or appearing in an examination, but waiting for the final result, they should submit a certificate/scorecard during the interview.
  • If any of the following is detected at any stage of the recruitment process after recruitment or joining, the applicant will be disqualified, prosecuted and stopped by all appointments in EMRS under the nest. Their application/appointment will be rejected immediately if they:
    • Provided incorrect information or presented incorrect documents.
    • Press the relevant information.
    • During the recruitment process, it was imprisoned.
    • Committed.
    • A disturbance affecting the smooth conduct of computer-based tests at the test center/site was created.
    • A non-human or irrelevant photo was uploaded.
  • If a candidate presents several/duplicate applications for the same post, only the latest application will be considered for further evaluation.

  • After considering all rest/concessions in any case, the age of the candidate should not be more than 55 years.
  • Age rest for ex -servicemen will be according to the government. Rules of India.
  • East-soldiers who have not served continuously less than six months in armed forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) have been determined for posts for more than three years, status about age limit Will be understood to satisfy.
  • All the concessions mentioned above will be concurrent, that is, if a person is eligible for more than one concession, only one concession of the highest permissible limit will be given.
