TN Set Exam Date 2025 Out, Exam Starts from 6 March


The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has announced the date of examination for the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) through the official notice issued on the official website https://trb.tn.gov.in/. According to the official notice, The TN set exam 2025 will be held from 6 to 9 March 2025. For the same, the hall ticket will be released 7 days before the date of the exam for all those candidates who had successfully registered for the TN set exam. Candidates who are planning to appear for the TN set exam should promote their preparation to qualify for the exam.

Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) is also known as TN SET, which is held every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor posts in universities / colleges in Tamil Nadu. TN SET exam 2025 will be held on 6th, 7th, 8th and 9 March 2025 in computer-based mode in various allotted examination centers across the state. The TN SET exam consists of 2 papers. Paper I will be common for all candidates, while Paper II will be based on the PG theme selected by the candidates (as given in the TNSET list of subjects).

As per the official notice of Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) exam date, the exam will be conducted in CBT mode from 6 to 9 March 2025 and the hall ticket will be released 7 days before the date of the examination. TNSET exam pattern 2024

  • The TN SET exam will be conducted in computer-based mode.
  • The TN SET exam includes objective type and multiple choice questions (MCQ).
  • The exam time period will be 03 hours. There will be no break between the papers.
  • There is no negative mark for wrong answers.
