India Post GDS 1 merit list 2025 out, state-wise results PDF


India Post has released the roll number of shortlisted candidates to appear for document verification through GDS merit list 2025, which has been released on 21 March 2025. Candidates who have applied for 21413 vacancies can now download the result and merit list PDF from the official website of India Post on https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/. India Post GDS Result 2025 1 Merit List has been released separately for all 23 circles and once released, the link is also shared in the article.

GDS merit list 2025 out

The registration form was accepted from 10 February to 3 March 2025 and lakhs of candidates from 10th pass have applied for GDS Online engagement Schedule -1, January 2025. Through this recruitment, 21413 GDS post [i.e. Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevaks] Will be recruited. Candidates will be selected based on the prepared merit list of marks obtained in the secondary school examination or 10th standard. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for document verification, for which the GDS merit list 2025 will also be declared a date.

How to check India Post GDS merit list 2025?

GDS results 2025 PDF download link will be activated on the official portal https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/.

  1. Visit the official website of India Post GDS online at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/.
  2. Search the “list of shortlisted candidates” on the left side of the homepage in the corner of the candidate.
  3. Select the circle you have applied.
  4. Download the GDS result and merit list PDF for your circle.
  5. Search your roll number with Ctrl+F shortcut in the list of shortlisted candidates.
  6. If your roll number appears in the list, you are eligible to appear for a document verification round, for which further details will be uploaded recently.

GDS results 2025 selection process

Applicants will be shortlisted for engagement based on a system-related merit list. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained. It is mandatory to pass all subjects according to the concerned approved board norms.

For applicants, where the second standard mark sheet secondary school examination contains both Marx or Marx and Grade/Point, only their total marks will be worked on keeping in mind the marks obtained in all compulsory and alternative/alternative subjects (other than additional subjects, if any). This will ensure that applicants with high marks are selected.

For only applicants with subject-wise applicants, each subject (marks for compulsory and alternative subjects will come, but in the following way there are no additional subjects by applying multiplicity factor of 9.5.
